HANDS FOR PEACE

On PEACE DAY we made a mural. Each child drew and coloured a hand. On the hands they wrote positive messages, such as love, joy, friendship, solidarity...

SPINDERELLA BY BLUE MANGO THEATER

On the 21^st of January the 6th grade class went on a fieldtrip to see the play ¨Spinderella¨. The play was based on the story of Cinderella but with a modern day twist. In the play the main character, Cindy, wants to go to a karaoke party but has too many chores that she must do. However, with some help from a magical friend she is able to get her chores done in time and attend the karaoke party. In the end she beats her evil step-sister and is crowned the winner of the karoake party singing competition. 

The play was in English and was interactive so the students were involved.  There were call and response portions of the play and songs to sing along with.  

The play was very sweet and the students enjoyed themselfs! 

Cindy siempre ha querido ser una estrella del pop, pero el único momento en que puede cantar es cuando está cocinando y limpiando para su horrible hermana mayor, Becky. Cuando el hada madrina de Cindy, “La Reina del Karaoke”, la lleva a un concurso de canto, parece que sus sueños van a hacerse realidad; esto, si su hermana Becky no lo impide.

Esta emocionante comedia es una moderna versión del clásico cuento de hadas ‘La Cenicienta’. El show incluye temas como la buena alimentación, el vivir activamente y perseguir nuestros sueños.

OUR CHRISTMAS TREE

We made the decorations for our Christmas Tree: drawings, poems and wishes for the new year. 
Entre todos os nenos/as do colexio fixemos a nosa especial árbore de Nadal con bólas decoradas con debuxos, acrósticos e desexos de NADAL.

We also decorated the corridors.
